ABOUT
ME

I was born in New York City and raised in the suburbs of Manhattan before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area at 13. It was during my eighth-grade English class that I first recognized writing as not just a hobby, but a true passion, particularly in the realm of editorial work. Within my first year in California, I had the opportunity to publish my first perspective piece on KQED live radio.

In high school, I enrolled in a year-long Non-Fiction Journalism course, which led to my acceptance into the school's award-winning newspaper, The Redwood Bark. Over three years, I turned what began as a hobby into a professional pursuit, refining my craft and deepening my commitment to storytelling. I served as a Reporter before being appointed to a Copy Writer position, and then finished my time on the paper as a Senior Staff Writer.

Currently, I am a sophomore at the University of Michigan, where I serve as the Junior Content Writer for the Michigan Fashion Media Summit, a student-led organization that connects the “leaders and best” to a multitude of career options, while helping shape the future fabric of fashion. Additionally, I contribute as an editorial writer for MASH magazine, Michigan’s premier fashion and business publication.
